Face to Face Counselling Sessions

By Mehdi Hasan

A very warm welcome to all the staff and students at Nelson College London. My name is Tola Ishola and I have the privilege of being the newly appointed in-person psychotherapeutic counsellor for both the Ilford and Gants Hill campuses. I was appointed to this brand-new initiative by the college in June 2023 and have been working
at both sites since then.

For those who may be new to counselling, I want to firstly introduce myself and secondly, explain a little about what counselling is and what you can expect from sessions.
The stigma around mental health has improved over the years but some still struggle with seeking out professional support but when they are ready to, that is where counselling can be beneficial.
